Training and Qualifications
By returning your registration form, paying for your course/ assessment or attending our event, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
If you are funded – places are not transferable. The attendee must be the person with the funding in their name.
At no time during the training should you be under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you have a history of illness or are taking prescribed medication that may affect your judgement or performance, please notify us prior to course commencement. Please discuss the above with your employer before the course is booked, if in doubt. We take a zero-tolerance attitude to violence and aggression, in this situation and behaving in this way, participants will be asked to leave.
We will make every effort to ensure that training and assessments ahead as planned, but sometimes this is out of our control. We take no responsibility and will not pay any compensation for lost days’ work, equipment or machinery failure, poor weather conditions or any other circumstance in which the training and assessments cannot go ahead as planned.
Cancellation policy: A cancellation charge of 100% of the original course price of the training/assessment will apply, should you withdraw within twenty-one days of the course or fail to pay by the due date. A cancellation fee of 75% shall apply if you withdraw between one month and twenty-one days before the course.
Payment: If your course is part funded, please make payment before the course. If you fail to do so, you will be liable for the full cost of the course. All places must be paid for to secure your booking.
Privacy and data protection: Please note that all confidential information provided to us by you will be for the purposes of this training/ assessment event or to contact you in the future. Any data held by us will be in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. These may be used by the awarding body for registration or audit purposes, by the funding body with whom you may have an arrangement, or by us to contact you, but will not be transferred to any other person. If you would rather us not contact you in the future, please make us aware of this in writing.
Young people: Young persons under the age of 18 must have parental or carers consent before attending our training courses.
Biosecurity: If your training will take place on a working farm such as at our training centre, please ensure that you wear clean clothes and PPE. We would not wear dirty boots to your site. Disinfectant will be available. Please also read and adhere to the attached covid-19 rules. Please bring spare clean shoes to wear inside the training room.
Illness: Should the candidate/ learner be unwell on the day of the course, please call us to discuss options.
Reasonable adjustments: Learning needs, disabilities and medical requirements/ medication that may affect your ability to take part. If you do not make us aware of any requirements you have, we cannot help you get the best out of this training event. Please let us know before the training event– confidentially and we will do our very best to accommodate you.
Equipment and machinery: Any machinery or equipment that we supply is on loan to you. Careless breakages, damage or loss of equipment will be chargeable. Please be respectful and take care of our sites and equipment.
We would like to inform you of offers/courses/funding opportunities/shows we will be attending coming up, by replying to our email and sending your details through to us, you are agreeing that we can contact you.
Please note: We must register your details with the awarding body (this is a legal requirement) one week before the course/ assessment. We also need your agreement, that we and any Assessment Centre can use your details to register you and to take a photograph of you for your skills card. By returning this form to us, you are agreeing that we may use these details to register you and contact you for the purposes of your business with us.
